Large Scale Water Treatment
The Aquashine Water Softener is a high-performance water treatment system designed to effectively remove hardness-causing minerals such as calcium and magnesium from water. Engineered for durability and efficiency, it protects plumbing systems, industrial equipment, boilers, and appliances from scale buildup — ensuring longer service life and improved performance.
Hard water can cause scaling, reduced heating efficiency, pipe blockages, and damage to machinery. Aquashine Water Softeners provide a reliable and cost-effective solution by delivering soft water that enhances operational efficiency and reduces maintenance costs.
Raw Hard Water Inlet
Hard water from borewell or municipal supply enters the softener tank and flows through the resin bed.
Ion Exchange Process (Softening Stage)
Water passes through high-quality cation exchange resin beads.
Calcium (Ca²⁺) and Magnesium (Mg²⁺) ions are exchanged with Sodium (Na⁺) ions, producing soft water.
Soft Water Outlet
The treated soft water exits the system and is supplied to pipelines, boilers, equipment, or domestic use.
Resin Exhaustion Detection
Over time, the resin becomes saturated with hardness minerals and loses its softening capacity.
The system then initiates the regeneration cycle (automatic or manual depending on configuration).
Backwash Cycle
Water flows in reverse direction to clean and loosen the resin bed.
Removes trapped suspended particles and redistributes the resin.
Brine Injection (Regeneration Stage)
A salt (brine) solution is introduced into the resin tank.
Sodium ions recharge the resin by replacing accumulated calcium and magnesium ions.
Rinse Cycle
Excess brine and hardness minerals are flushed out.
The resin bed is cleaned and prepared for the next softening cycle.
